Playsuit from day to night & bringing back Flower Power!!

The UK is saying HELLLOOO to the sunshine, finally summer has decided to grace us with it's presence!
Plans for today are a stroll by the river, drinks in a beer garden then into town for a friends birthday drinks.
I'll be going straight from one to the next so need a look that can easily transform from day wear to a going out outfit.

Day Time Look

To add a bit of sparkle to this plain black strapless playsuit I added this beautiful little head piece from RiverIsland.
It's really low maintenance, not like some more elaborate hair pieces that require a lot of additional styling around, this sits on the head really easily.

The plan was to then wear this playsuit out in the evening

Evening Look

Changing from flats to heels instantly dresses up any outfit, I choice my black and white open toe Primark heel and a fab gold 3 length chain necklace from Dorthy Perkins.

This was all planned before I took a short walk to get some lunch and realised it was even hotter than it looked outside, so a change in attire was required if I didn't want to melt.

Second Day Look

Sticking with the playsuit theme (they are just so easy!) I changed into this fabulously comfy demin TopShop playsuit. With an elasticated waist it gives the suit some shape and the sport shape shorts design is a fab cut for us ladies with short legs as the upside down V at the side creates a longer leg line.

Feeling incredibly summery I wore my flower headband, a growing trend right now that I really love.
Anyone can wear one and they come in all sizes and colours so you can certainly find one that works for you.

Flower Power

Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh is a big fan of this current trend, showing it in many colours on her blog http://millie-mackintosh.com/ and also wearing this look at this years Glastonbury.

Another celebs who has rocked the flowery head band, is the sensational Pixie Lott, here in this gorgeous yellow flower headband.

If the big bold flowers are a little overwhelming for you then Una from the Saturdays demonstrates how you can create an equally gorgeous but slightly more understated look.

Lets embrace the sunshine whilst it lasts and get all summery with this wonderfully girlie summer trend.
